The amount of LOVE that we have for ski resorts that let kids SKI FREE is incredible.  In an era where ski lift tickets keep getting more and more expensive, quickly pricing out many families who want to ski, there are still many resorts that want to make skiing accessible and affordable for families.  THANK YOU SO MUCH!

While there are many ski resorts that let younger kids ski free, it’s becoming rarer and rarer to find cheap or free lift tickets for kids over the age of 5 or 6.  That’s what we’re highlighting below.  We hope that you’ll see a resort that’s a good fit for your family so that you can stretch your ski money farther and get on the hill more often.

I grew up in a family that didn’t have a lot of money to ski, but with parents who loved skiing and wanted their kids to love it as well.  Each winter, we would take a 2-week ski road trip to Utah to ski with my grandparents.

My parents often couldn’t afford to join us, but since kids skied free and senior citizens skied for $10, I learned to ski as a kid.  I attribute my love of skiing to kids ski-free programs that lasted beyond my preschool years and I’m so grateful that they still exist today!
